SafeSchools employs the power of scenario-based learning to:

• Aid visual and auditory learners in proper prevention methods.

Using the Scenarios
SafeSchools courses can be used in a variety of ways to enhance safety training:

• Staff in-service days - use as presentation materials to facilitate discussion.
• Advisory training session - use to train groups of advisory staff.
• Safety meetings - use to emphasize a specific safety point to classified staff.
• Parent or partner meetings - engage adults more easily on sensitive topics.

The Blended Learning Model
Blended Learning is a new spin on an old model, which employs a combination of on-line and off-line exercises to educate and challenge the learner.

The blended learning model allows SafeSchools to provide all the necessary materials for the district to engage the staff in both on-line and off-line learning. SafeSchools products are designed to reduce employee in-service time, improve the quality of training, and deliver training during any time of the day. (No more missed in-services issues or one-to-one half day training sessions due to illness or scheduling.)
